A Bit About Us
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land — past, present, and emerging — and pay our deep respect to their enduring care, knowledge, and connection to country over thousands of years.

At Potoroo Palace, we aim to raise awareness of the natural world and foster an emotional connection between people, animals, plants, and water. Our goal is to show how humans can live alongside native animals while valuing the trees, grasses, and the vital microorganisms in the soil.

Potoroo Palace is an educational and conservation-focused wildlife sanctuary, accredited by the Zoological Association of Australasia (ZAA) and a proud member of Land for Wildlife. We are committed to the welfare of all animals in our care and to educating the public about the importance of conserving local and national flora and fauna.

Located just ten minutes from Merimbula, NSW, in the beautiful Bega Valley, our sanctuary invites you to:
-
See koalas up close
-
Wander among kangaroos

-

-

You can get even closer to our free-roaming kangaroos, emus, and ducks with an Animal Feed Bag available for $3 at the entrance.
